Reporting to the SVP and Head of Investor Relations, Marketing and Research, the Vice President of Investor Relations will be responsible for supporting current investors with regular communications, responding to inquiries, and by planning, organizing and facilitating the annual investor meeting and call. The Vice President will also support the development of new investor relationships and new fund raises every 2-3 years.

What you'll do:

  • Support robust and timely communication with investors and coordinate responses to incoming investor inquiries working with other teams across the organization to gather information
  • Help coordinate and drive content for our Annual Investor Meeting and our Annual Investor Call
  • Support production of materials and participate in marketing and due diligence meetings with investors and consultants
  • With the IR team and other groups within Carmel, help support the production of all marketing materials including, pitch books, PPMs and other materials
  • With the Head of Investor Relations, help cultivate a strong set of institutional prospects for each fund raise cycle, including allocators and consultants, and help drive successful fundraises
  • Support the response to all due diligence requests from investors and consultants
  • Build and maintain Carmel's brand through management, sponsorship, and active participation in select associations and conferences
  • Help build and manage our relationship network
  • Maintain CRM system information on all prospective investors


Skills we're seeking:

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Economics, MBA preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in investment management and/or the real estate industry with Investor Relations and Business Development experience
  • Understanding of broad financial markets and indices
  • Understanding of SEC regulations that impact investor/external communications a plus
  • Strong financial modeling, finance and accounting skills with superior attention to detail
  • Strong data analysis skills, including the ability to analyze data and draw clear, concise conclusions, identify, and define problems, and develop creative solutions to problems
  • Ability to engage in dialogue with investors—outstanding interpersonal, facilitation and presentation skills in a variety of different settings
  • Impeccable writer, editor and visual communicator, expert in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on PowerPoint and Excel  
  • Positive, detail-oriented team player committed to meeting deadlines
  • Desire and ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment, correctly prioritizing work across a variety of projects 
  • Ability to interact, collaborate, and communicate with cross-functional leadership teams
