The Senior Construction Manager will work directly with our urban and suburban residential townhome teams on projects in the Puget Sound region and will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of construction from initial feasibility through project close-out. The Senior Construction Manager will manage multiple projects as the general contractor for company owned developments.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Being a valuable member and leader of project teams, promoting collaboration, mentoring and team success.
  • Managing townhome projects and field personnel to ensure on-time, on-budget results.
  • Working with the project team to ensure complete construction documentation and specifications.
  • Managing the bidding, buyout, and subcontract negotiations as General Contractor for all aspects of the work.
  • Understanding complex construction documents including multiple trades.
  • Comprehensive understanding of construction contracts, contract documentation and administration.
  • Working knowledge of construction laws, regulatory environment, industry safety procedures and protocol.
  • Managing design-build subcontractors through design and construction.
  • Producing and managing detailed project critical path timelines using Microsoft Project.
  • Skilled at managing detailed Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and construction budget analysis.
  • Experience with Sage CRE or other industry job cost accounting systems a plus.
  • Conducting value engineering and constructability analysis.
  • Producing and maintaining construction estimates through the construction documentation process.
  • Maintain industry knowledge for current best practices, construction costs, and products.
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvements.



  • Construction Management, Engineering or related degree, and 10 years construction management experience in bidding, buyout, and construction management of residential townhome projects.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience preparing and presenting reports, budgets, and schedules.
  • Thorough understanding of the administrative and documentation aspects of construction.
  • Team player, able to work in fast-paced environment.
  • Skill with Microsoft suite, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam Revu, and Sage CRE
