Catalyst Investment Partners (“Catalyst”) is a fully integrated real estate investment firm recently founded by partners Dan Haroun and Max Heiden, who have collectively transacted on, developed, and managed over $7.0 billion of real estate assets during their tenure at various institutional real estate firms, including SL Green Realty Corp., Wheelock Street Capital, and Meadow Partners. Catalyst recently closed and is currently investing out of an approximately $50 million fully discretionary private equity fund exclusively pursuing industrial outdoor storage properties. Industrial outdoor storage is an emerging asset class within industrial real estate, defined by low building coverage properties used for truck parking, equipment rental companies, truck terminals and other similar uses.
