Pelorus Equity Group, Inc. (“Pelorus”) is an institutional cannabis focused real estate investment management firm based in Newport Beach, CA and New York, NY. The firm has a mortgage REIT focused on construction, bridge, value-add, and stabilized lending to cannabis real estate owners. Pelorus is the longest running commercial real estate debt provider in the cannabis space. Since 2016 Pelorus has closed over $350MM cannabis related loans. The main fund has approximately $280MM in AUM and has been growing rapidly. Pelorus was the first private cannabis mortgage REIT/debt fund to close a corporate bond in the space.
