Based in Calgary at Olympic Park this not-for-profit institute reflects our collective passion to see Canadians on the podium. It gives our best an even better chance to be best in the world. As V.P., Operations of WinSport, you will have the unique opportunity to oversee new and Olympic legacy facilities for bobsleigh, skeleton, luge, ski jumping, freestyle skiing, alpine skiing, snowboarding and hockey programs. You will embrace responsibility for developing and sustaining WinSport’s year round training venues and retail spaces to engage athletes and the general public in the highest caliber guest experience. Reporting to the President & C.E.O., you will manage an annual expenditure budget of $12 million and direct a permanent team of 45, plus 125 seasonal workers, through seven direct reports. As a member of the WinSport Executive Leadership Team, you will make a significant strategic contribution to an organization that is all about breakthrough thinking and performance. In addition to your love of sport, you have accumulated credentials as a senior operations or facilities executive in a sporting or recreational venue, university, municipality, major retail centre or destination resort.
