The City of Charlotte is seeking an Economic Development Manager who is a seasoned professional, passionate about delivering quality customer service, and committed to the highest level of ethical behavior. The Economic Development Manager is driven to strengthen Charlotte’s economy and enhance its global competitivenessby promoting economic growth through business retention and expansion, new business recruitment, facilitation and negotiation of real estate development agreements, tax base stabilization and enhancement, analysis of fiscal and economic impacts, and development and use of various economic development incentive tools.
The Economic Development Manager serves in a high profile position and must be capable of cultivating and enhancing partnerships with community leaders representing corporate, development, public, non-profit, and institutional entities.
