About the Company
The Public School Teachers’ Pension and Retirement Fund of Chicago (“CTPF” or “The Fund”) is the administrator of a cost-sharing multiple-employer defined benefit public employee retirement system. The state legislature established the Fund in 1895 to provide retirement, survivor and disability benefits for certified teachers and employees of the Chicago Public and Charter Schools as well as Fund employees. The Fund is administered in accordance with Illinois Complied Statures (ILCS) Chapter 40, Act 5, Article 17.
