Known as one of the busiest library systems, we continue to expand our services to patrons in keeping pace with changes in technology, shifting community demographics, and changing patron needs and expectations.
Our mission is to provide free, open, and equal access to ideas and information. By following our Intellectual Freedom Policy, we encourage all members of the community to encounter the rich diversity of concepts upon which a democratic society depends.
We employ approximately 1,200 staff members in 49 locations throughout King County and offer a wide range of full and part-time opportunities.
