Schell Brothers has a very unique purpose: to maximize happiness rather than profit. Our company was founded with the sole intent of creating a company that put the happiness of its employees and customers above all else. Ironically and unintentionally, a genuine commitment to this purpose has made Schell Brothers surprisingly “successful” by all definitions of the word. Schell Brothers is ranked by Builder Magazine as the 68th largest home builder in the country by gross sales and 104th largest by settlements. Schell Brothers has recently expanded outside our original market of Sussex County, Delaware to Richmond, VA and plan to build in Charleston, SC in 2018.
