The GWP, a non-profit, private-public partnership, is dedicated to improving the overall economic vitality of the region which includes the City of Williamsburg, York County and James City County, Virginia. The mission of the GWP is to promote the region, to foster job creation, to facilitate new investment, to diversify the local economy, and to nurture and improve the quality of life The GWP is 501(c)6 and is funded by local government and private sector contributions.
