Old Forester 1920 is among the oldest brandy distilleries in the nation. It was created both before and after it was illegal to consume alcohol. It is helpful to know that. Despite the closure of most distilleries, Old Forester was given one of the few licenses to continue manufacturing and selling for "medical purposes." It is also recognized as the first company to bottle whiskey to prevent tampering.
