About the CEO
Tom Evans is the Managing Partner and Portfolio Manager of Toccoa Capital Management, LLC and oversees the day-to-day operations of the firm. Prior to Toccoa, Tom worked on behalf of a large special situations and distressed investment fund; focusing his efforts on sourcing, underwriting, and asset managing real estate investments throughout the southeastern USA. Tom also worked in Special Assets at Synovus Bank during the GFC and for his family’s road construction and site development company in Atlanta. Tom is also an Adjunct Professor of Real Estate Finance at the Goizueta Business School at Emory University. Tom is an Atlanta native and received his BS in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech and MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.
