About the CEO
Mario is a seasoned entrepreneur, investor, and real estate developer, with a track record of over twenty years generating strong returns across market cycles. Since 2005, he has led the structuring, acquisition, development, and/or asset management of over USD $1 billion in light-industrial, retail, residential, and corporate office properties.
In 2017, Mario co-founded ProximityParks, a vertically integrated real estate investment firm, with a pure play focus on building the largest, most environmentally friendly, and highest-performing portfolio of last mile logistics industrial properties in the Americas.
ProximityParks is the pioneer in its field and has quickly become the leading player in Mexico, where it has a growing portfolio of over 4.6 M sqft, across Mexico City, Monterrey, and Guadalajara.
Mario has a substantial network in the North American real estate communities and provides a deep understanding of the investment and development processes, as well as fund and asset management expertise.
Mario studied Finance at Tec de Monterrey and holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
