Strategic Facility Partners (SFP) was founded to advance the missions and visions of public and private higher education institutions through the acquisition, development, funding, and operation of on-campus or affiliated student housing. SFP has approximately $300mm of assets under management, with a growing pipeline of projects across the United States.

When properly implemented, student housing is more than a physical facility; it is a strategic asset that supports recruitment, retention, and student development while providing institutions with an alternative revenue stream beyond tuition and state funding.

Through our unique ownership, financing, and operating structure, SFP partners with colleges and universities, developers, property managers, and owners to deliver high-quality housing through alternative financing models. Our projects are typically funded through tax-exempt bonds, and excess cash flow is returned to our institutional partners through scholarships, contributions to general funds, and reinvestment in campus residential facilities.
