Matter Real Estate is a growing, entrepreneurial real estate advisory and project management firm based in Manhattan.
We are on a mission to build a multi-disciplinary team of exceptional professionals—including architects, engineers, and construction managers—to help our clients execute complex real estate projects. We specialize in assisting mission-oriented organizations and property owners to successfully plan and build space that is highly functional and economical.
We believe that real estate is not just in the pro forma but exists as a place and thing—therefore, having a passion for design and construction is essential to succeed at our firm. We are seeking a Project Manager with a strong track record of execution, an ownership mindset, and the ability to independently drive complex projects forward. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where they are expected to take initiative and lead.

About the CEO
Alex Weis is the founder and Principal of Matter Real Estate, which he established in 2017 to create a new model of collaboration among like-minded architects, engineers, builders, and other industry professionals. With 19 years of real estate experience, Alex provides strategic guidance and leadership to Matter’s clients, overseeing the planning and execution of complex development projects. Alex holds a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation.
