Forman Capital is a rapidly growing direct real estate lender which just formed a strategic partnership with Trez Capital Group, LP, launching Trez Forman Capital Group, LP.
Forman Capital specializes in opportunistic, high yielding mezzanine, bridge and hard money loans secured by commercial real estate.
Our partnership with Canadian lender Trez Capital brings together the expertise and resources which will make us one of the leading providers of bridge capital for commercial real estate in Canada and the United States. Currently managing a mortgage and investment portfolio of nearly $2 billion, we have collectively financed approximately $5 billion on more than 1,000 transactions since 1997. The loans range between $2MM and $50MM and are secured by first and second mortgages, pledges of partnership interests and preferred equity investments.
Forman transacts nationally across all asset classes including: land, multifamily, hospitality, office, retail, residential (non-owner occupied), hospitality including assets in transition and under construction among others.
