JOB SUMMARY


Responsible for executing Fannie Mae and FHA trades and providing regular market intelligence to the production network.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Manage rate lock/spread lock process and coordination among production team and underwriting team.

Run competitive auction for all trades and provide intel back to counterparties and production team.

Maintain positive working relationship with all counterparties.

Ensure compliance with all Fannie Mae and FHA trading and delivery requirements.

Provide regular market intel to production network via email and written commentary.

Train junior team members.

Participate on loan committees.

Other duties as assigned.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES


May assist in supervisory responsibilities of junior team members this position. Coordinates and assigns tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project team. Leads project teams and/or plan, and supervise assignments of lower level employees. May have responsibility for identifying training needs, tracking performance, coaching, and motivating a work unit and/or group.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE


Bachelor s degree from a four-year college or university required. Concentration in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate or other related subject preferred. Minimum five years multi- family Underwriting or trading experience.



CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES


None



COMMUNICATION SKILLS


Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.



FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE


Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis.



REASONING ABILITY


Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.



OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES

Proficient in Bloomberg and common Adobe and Microsoft applications including: Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Knowledge and understanding of the principles and procedures for underwriting and processing of Fannie Mae DUS multifamily, seniors housing, student housing, and affordable housing transactions.
Will be required to travel as needed.

Decisions made with thorough understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines. Responsible for setting work unit and/or project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to department.
