The Community Manager is the central point of contact for all administrative, maintenance, and customer service at our unique downtown properties. Ownership and leasing teams rely on the Community Manager to create a uniquely enjoyable living experience for residents.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be the champion for customer success and drive on-site focus around customer satisfaction

  • Receive, respond to, and resolve all resident concerns, such as maintenance requests, noise complaints, and rent payment issues

  • Manage leasing manager and assist leasing team with prospective resident scheduling and showings

  • Liaison between ownership, vendors, back-office administration, and residents

  • Manage all third-party services

  • Solicit and review vendor contracts

  • Assure compliance with applicable building codes

  • Proactively address upkeep needs

  • Perform quality control inspections

  • Monitor service costs and general expenditures in line with projected budgets

  • Craft and distribute resident communications in line with brand standards

  • Assist the leasing team with prospective resident scheduling and showings

  • Distribute renewal notices in a timely manner

  • Process approved rental applications

  • Coordinate the move-in process

  • Hold regular Office Hours to discuss resident concerns and suggestions

  • Respond to and document building-related emergencies

  • Work collectively with Ownership to streamline operations and implement best practices

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Insatiable drive to deliver exceptional customer service in all situations

  • Relevant multifamily property management experience, or applicable experience in hospitality or development

  • Working knowledge of building systems, including elevators, HVAC, plumbing and lighting

  • Familiarity with property management software for managing rent payments, maintenance requests, and other inquiries

  • Tech savvy; able to manage data in multiple systems, including PMS, intercom, package lockers, calendars, and common area displays

  • Enjoys public speaking as an event host and facilitator

  • Able to consistently craft grammatically correct and personably written emails, flyers, and other notices

  • Resourceful and detail-oriented events planner

  • Embraces strategic guidance, problem-solving and new ideas

  • Real Estate license as required by state regulations - preferred
