Position Description

ASSOCIATE, RESIDENTIAL ASSET MANAGEMENT: We are seeking an experienced real estate professional to join our multifamily asset management team in Stamford, CT. The Associate will perform financial modeling, project underwriting and analysis, market research, transaction due diligence, and business plans and approval memoranda for developments, leasing, financings, and dispositions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze the financial performance of properties in the multifamily portfolio.
  • Maintain, update, and analyze property valuation files including detailed review of third party appraisals and related property information.
  • Organize and participate in the preparation and review of annual property operating budgets and business plans and monthly financial statement reviews.
  • Performing macro and micro market research, which may include site visits
  • Assisting with capital markets transactions
  • Interfacing with lenders, equity partners, legal, and other third-party vendors.
  • Review and interpret property operating agreements.
  • Participate in property calls with partners, third party managers and management team.

Qualifications

  • Must have at least 4 years of related experience in the multifamily real estate industry performing research, underwriting, valuation, due diligence, asset management and financial analysis
  • Strong financial, modeling, and analytical abilities
  • BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university with a strong academic or work background in financial analysis, mathematics, accounting Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong cash flow and partnership structure modeling experience
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize
