Job Summary: In this capacity, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for evaluating the financial performance of existing and potential real estate acquisition properties as well as potential lending scenarios. You will work closely with Director of Acquisition and Vice President of Lending Division to support them in the following: compile and analyze financial information, evaluate market assumptions, generate pro-formas and cash flows, calculate ROI, develop integrated revenue/expense analyses, create projections, internal reporting, and supporting the debt refinancing of various properties. The Financial Analyst will also perform financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts, working closely with accounting and senior management.
Duties:
Generate pro-forma P&Ls and cash flows on individual entities
Evaluate the financial performance of each property
Create templates to evaluate potential acquisitions
Develop market assumptions
Analyze monthly financial data
Work with executive leadership on debt refinancing
Special projects as directed by senior management
Demonstrate a sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
2-3 years of related experience
Familiarity with industrial real estate preferred
Ability to partner across teams, summarize issues, develop recommendations, and make decisions
Strong analytical and quantitative skills and detail-oriented
Strong proficiency with financial modeling in excel
Ability to adapt to new challenges in a dynamic and fast paced environment while handling multiple projects
Highly organized
Strong desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
