Responsibilities

As an Analyst wtih Hines you will engage with the Fund Management team in the analysis of investment opportunities and will provide support for the team's decision-making and management of key investments. The Analyst will partner with Associates and Directors to assess fund-level considerations for acquisitions, reviewing asset management activity and disposition recommendations. The Analyst will report to the Managing Director, Fund Management - Americas. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Acquisitions pipeline review, assistance in underwriting investment opportunities and transaction management in coordination with Hines regional and Portfolio Management teams.
  • Review asset and portfolio financial models and identify fund considerations and economic impacts.
  • Utilize internal and external resources as well as market intelligence and research driven data to assist in investment fund strategy.
  • Coordination and preparation of special projects as needed.
  • General support of senior team members in decision-making and strategy execution.

Qualifications


Minimum Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, analytics or quantitative streams from an accredited institution.
  • One or more years of related experience, preferably within real estate in an investment, portfolio management, lending or consulting role.
  • Strong understanding of Argus Enterprise and the MS Office suite, most particularly Excel, but also PowerPoint and Word - able to produce and review detailed underwriting and well-curated presentations.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to distill complex concepts in an efficient and succinct manner.
  • Demonstrate interest in real estate. Experience with real estate research, portfolio management and investment strategy, or transaction/Asset Management experience would be beneficial.
