Analyst/Associate - Debt Placement / Financing (Los Angeles)

Description 

We are looking for an Analyst/Associate to join our Debt Placement / Financing Team in our Santa Monica or Newport Beach office.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with senior team members on transaction execution, presentations, collaboration with lenders and clients, and oversight of financial underwriting
• Performing comprehensive and in-depth company, real estate, and market analysis
• Financial underwriting, due diligence review and transaction execution
• Preparing presentations and other materials for clients
• Creating pitches, proposals, and marketing materials
• Regularly participating in client interactions to gain exposure to key executives and senior bankers

Required Qualifications

• 2-5 years of commercial real estate experience with a focus on capital markets and/or finance
• BS/BA degree or higher
• Dedication to building a career in financial services with a focus on real estate finance
• Willingness to work long hours in a demanding, focused, and collaborative team environment
• Energetic self-starter who is flexible, organized, conscientious, proactive, and detail-oriented
• Demonstrated sense of personal accountability and urgency for achieving results
• Demonstrated ability to consistently produce high-quality work under tight time frames
• Strong communication, analytical, and writing skills
• Strong ARGUS, financial analysis and excel modeling skills
