Job Description:

One Real Estate Investment a Miami based commercial real estate investment management firm focused on multifamily real estate is seeking a new team member to join in the role of Analyst. The Analyst will gain valuable experience in all phases of real estate investment including sourcing, analyzing, negotiating, structuring, and closing and managing commercial real estate transactions. The Analyst will also be responsible for conducting thorough financial analysis on existing portfolio assets and building strong relationship with external partners. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to learn how to analyze real estate investments and grow with an experienced team.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed financial analysis on existing and prospective real estate assets
• Assist with all phases of the investment acquisition, debt placement, asset management processes and disposition analysis
• Build and/or update financial models to assess relative risks and opportunities of a given deal or structure
• Prepare investment memoranda for internal partners and external investors such as teasers, PowerPoint investment memos, etc.
• Track economic, capital market, and real estate trends to help develop investment and asset management strategies
• Gain and expand knowledge of applicable real estate markets nationwide with an emphasis on Texas and the southeastern United States
• Format and analyze T-12’s, financials, rent rolls
• Call brokers, debt professionals, real estate owners, etc. to gather information and procure potential investments

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher with a focus in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Real Estate, or related quantitative discipline
• At least 1 year of experience in finance, accounting, or real estate
• Preference for experience in Multifamily (apartment complexes) real estate investing
• Strong quantitative skills and demonstrated analytical ability
• Demonstrable proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Strong interpersonal/communication skills
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Willingness and eagerness to learn
• Ability to travel frequently

Candidate Should Demonstrate:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required

• Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects at once

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop relationships with a variety of industry professionals

• Extremely high levels of organization and attention to detail
