Senior Financial Analyst

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Director of Capital Markets & Finance, the Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for creating and maintaining cash flow projections and financial models for the portfolio and any potential acquisitions, financing joint ventures and equity investors. 

Our ideal candidate will be excited to…

• Develop cash flow projections for financing, acquisition, joint-venture, and new venture transactions.
• Perform various financial analyses such as returns on equity, returns on investment, internal rates of return and sensitivity analysis.
• Develop and maintain the 10-Year Cash Flow and 24-Month Cash Flow models.
• Develop the financial data to be included in marketing packages relating to raising capital and new ventures that are to be sent to prospective lenders and/or investors. 
• Underwrite real estate transactions in both Argus and Excel.
• Assist, as necessary, with the due diligence for financing, acquisition, joint-venture, and new venture transactions including compiling and disseminating information to third parties, setting up and maintaining transaction due diligence files, and responding to requests for information from third parties and internal customers.

Requirements:

• BS in finance or real estate; MBA in real estate or finance a plus.
• Minimum three (3) years of work experience in financial analysis and financial modeling, with a strong emphasis in real estate.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
• Must possess the ability to develop and maintain strong business relationships with internal customers and external business contacts.
• Must be Excel and Argus guru.

* Currently a remote position; will transition to office and/or partly remote in late 2021.
