Real Estate Investment Analyst

PaulsCorp, LLC is a leading capital management and real estate investment and development firm.  With a 40 year history of development management, Pauls is dedicated to exceeding community real estate needs through residential, industrial, office, and land development.  We are seeking a highly motivated Real Estate Investment Analyst to join our growing team of professionals who are responsible for the acquisition, development, and asset management of industrial real estate throughout the US.  Our portfolio currently consists of over 8mm SF of existing and new development projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead/assist with financial modeling of acquisitions and development opportunities throughout the US with a focus on industrial real estate.  Prepare investment committee memorandums. Assist asset managers with financial reporting.  A strong attention to detail and ability to provide thorough analyses is a must.
• Develop and maintain financial models for use in evaluating potential investments using Argus Enterprise and Excel
• Assist with due diligence process by reviewing third party reports, coordinating with external vendors, verifying projections, or other duties as assigned
• Perform market research and assist with identifying new prospective opportunities
• Prepare investor and management reports
• Produce investment proposals and investment memos summarizing potential acquisitions and developments for Investment Committee
• Assist with quarterly financial model updates and periodic market data analysis
• Work with the team on business plan development

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting; or a combination of education and experience. Advanced degree a plus

• Minimum three to five years’ experience in commercial real estate investments and/or finance
• Industrial real estate experience preferred
• Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel with proficiency using Argus Enterprise
• Strong understanding of commercial real estate finance, deal structuring, and property operations
• Highly analytical and research driven
• Strong work ethic with a desire to learn and take on responsibility.
• Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
