Real Estate Analyst

Kalonymus is a boutique private real estate investment and development firm focused on multifamily real estate. 

We are seeking an Independent Contractor to support the Principal in all aspects of Investments and Development including acquisitions, financing, design, entitlements, construction administration, leasing and marketing, and asset management operations.

Responsibilities:

• Underwriting pro formas for both development and acquisitions, general Excel financial modeling, and sensitivity studies
• Organizing and tracking due diligence documentation for acquisitions
• Analyzing and aggregating market data for presentation
• Creating and maintaining project schedules, milestones, and timelines
• Preparing market reports, including rent and operating expense analyses, land and existing sale comps, and pipeline activity
• Asset managing from high-level, which includes monitoring individual asset performance and portfolio level analyses and presentations
• Sourcing deals
• Other duties, responsibilities and special projects as assigned

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in real estate and/or project management
• Experience managing or coordinating projects, meeting deadlines and coordinating the efforts of team members
• Strong understanding of real estate finance, underwriting, and valuation methods
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel (completion of excel modeling test will be required)
• Experience creating investment and private placement memos preferred
• Independent contractors are responsible for providing and maintaining at their own cost and expense their own computer infrastructure, internet connection, and any industry-related hardware

100% remote work or flexible office schedules are options.  The Principal is based out of our West LA office, so the work hours will be PST. If you are 100% remote, you must be set up to operate effectively from your own workspace and be comfortable with pure remote/home-based working.
