RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for overall management of the servicing of multiple portfolios of commercial mortgage loans using fundamental concepts, practices and procedures associated with commercial real estate finance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for monitoring the performance of an assigned low volume commercial mortgage loan portfolio
Serves as a primary contact and as an intermediary between lenders, master servicers, producers and borrowers. Provides overall customer service to lenders and borrowers.
Manage a Loan Analyst or Portfolio Analyst ensuring that procedures are being followed, mentors and trains analysts
Reviews and interprets loan documents and monitors compliance with loan servicing agreements.
Reviews and prepares recommendations for lender consent items such as easements, leases, loan assumptions and numerous other real estate related issues.
Participate in conference calls with lenders, special servicers or master servicers updating them on loan issues and other specific investor requests.
Special projects as required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Recommends staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required with minimum of 5 years of related work experience. Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred and/or a minimum of 3 years related work experience.

Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis.

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Proficient in Microsoft Suite Products including: Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook. Experienced in using loan servicing database system (McCracken Strategy preferred).

Decisions made with thorough understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines. Responsible for setting work unit and/or project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to department.
