Position Overview:  We are seeking an Analyst to join our Asset Management team, located in downtown Chicago, to assist with our 400+ property Healthcare portfolio.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Compile financial reporting in compliance with lender and investor requirements
  • Function as lender liaison – Assist in lender audits and coordinate with the Asset Management and Property Management teams to timely answer questions from the lender upon request
  • Organize and coordinate monthly submission of draws from our loan instruments for operating properties
  • Examine and analyze property operating statements, budgets and operating expense reconciliations; evaluate data and reporting to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Undertake detailed property-level analyses of prospective leasing deals, tenants/in-place leases, capital projects, operating and financial statements, market and competitive position, real estate taxes, insurance and other relevant information
  • Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and models for real  holdings and reforecast medical office income-producing properties
  • Assist with preparation and review of property-level business plans and budgets
  • Run and assemble reports from Yardi for standard reporting and as requested
  • Upload monthly financials to a Dropbox for our investors.
  • Coordinate with Asset Management team in compiling of materials requested in property appraisal and disposition process
  • Interact with clients, potential clients and senior management in the execution of commercial real estate investment transactions with the highest degree of integrity and professionalism
  • Provide support to the Asset Management team
  • Complete additional projects as assigned

Qualifications:          

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/education required
  • 1+ years of previous asset management experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of and experience with Yardi accounting software and Argus Enterprise preferred
  • Prior real estate experience preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Solid organizational skills with the ability to work efficiently and independently
  • Prior employment history demonstrating the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks and priorities, and to produce detailed, accurate results in a highly organized manner
