Goodman Properties, a real estate development and management firm, was established in 1985. Over the past 34 years, the company has evolved into an elite developer of specialty stores and premier regional shopping centers with more than 5 million square feet of diverse commercial, residential and office space. Currently, we are looking for a full time Lease Administration Transactions Manager to join our team.


Lease Administration Transactions Manager Overview:

The Lease Administration Transactions Manager will provide support to the Leasing and Financial Operations department within our company. Responsibilities will include day-to-day functions such as updating our lease administration system (Yardi), managing sales compliance and insurance requirements for the leases within our portfolio and overall tracking of our lease documents, critical dates and related data.


Skills, Knowledge and Personal Characteristics:

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills, be detail oriented, and have the ability to work for multiple people and prioritize his/her tasks daily. Proficiency with MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and ability to operate standard office equipment is essential. Prior experience as a lease administrator is required. Exposure to Yardi real estate management software is a plus, but not required.


Specific Duties Include:

Responsible for data integrity of Company’s Lease Administration System (Yardi).

· Review all newly executed lease documents and enter key components into Yardi.

· Review all leasing amendments/letter agreements and process lease changes into Yardi.

· Track critical lease dates and is responsible for communicating with billing team to collectively prepare rent commencement packages.

· Certify rent rolls and manages monthly rent processing, security deposits, rent increases, renewals and escrows for additional rents.

· Provide and review data with upper management concerning real estate tax appeals and partner with assigned counsel to prepare for hearings with the court.

· Manage tenant improvement allowance requests and partners with accounting department to ensure timely payment once approval process has been completed.

· Manage leasing commission contracts with brokers including the payment process (making sure requirements are met and approving a payment to be made in accordance with the contract)

· Manage sales reporting compliance and tracking of percentage rent and cumulative rent.

· Maintain & secure property and liability insurance coverage for company’s entire portfolio in addition to obtaining builder’s risk coverage for any construction projects.

· Maintain tenant insurance certificate compliance.

· Manage insurance claims partnering with company’s insurance broker, claim adjustor, appointed counsel, maintenance team and upper management when necessary.
