Summary:
Kennedy Wilson’s Debt Investment Group is looking for a experienced Accountant to work with our team to manage the accounting functions of the debt investment group. This includes Accounting, Reporting, Servicing (and third party servicer oversight) and working with our Treasury and Accounting Department to facilitate the accounting process

Key Responsibilities:
- Accounting & Reporting:
- Preparation of accounting memos for all new deals
- Accounting for investments including preparation of monthly bank reconciliations and tracking of capital accounts
- Review of check batches and coding for payables
- Preparation of quarterly financials for senior management
- Preparation of quarterly loan summary and debt fair value calculations for JV Partners
- Coordination of appraisals with JV Partners
- Annual Kennedy-Wilson Capital financials for the lending license
- Servicing:
- Internal Servicing:
- Track incoming payments for deposits and reconciliation of funds held
- Create and distribute monthly interest statements to borrowers
- Monthly Debt Platform Distributions
- Prepare & send out statements
- Monitor cash received and prepare distribution to JV Partners
- Servicing with Third Party Providers:
- Assist in coordination of onboarding of all new loans with Servicer.
- Coordinate opening of new accounts with Servicer and lender
- Review monthly remittance reports from servicer
- Internal Servicing:
- Treasury:
- Work with Servicer and lender to establish new accounts
- Track & reconcile Capital accounts
- Work with KW’s Treasury team on distributions and wires
- Transactions:
- Originations/ Purchases
- Confirm receipts from closing & tie to closing statement
- Distribution of origination fees & stub period interest to Partners
- Originations/ Purchases
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting in both public and private industry preferred with an emphasis in real estate…
- Proficiency in Yardi recommended
