Development Associate / Investment Analyst

Position:  Centrum is currently seeking to hire an Analyst / Associate to assist in underwriting, analyzing, researching, and closing the firm’s investment transactions. The candidate will also support the firm’s other efforts (project management, asset management, acquisitions / dispositions, etc.) as needed.   

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain complex financial models for potential acquisitions or development projects

• Prepare partnership return analysis, including waterfall calculations, based on various capital    structures.

• Analyze and monitor property performance

• Analyze historical revenue and expense data

• Assemble and maintain market research data

• Provide analytical support for leasing decisions

• Assist on other projects as needed (e.g., project management, asset management, etc.)  

Requirements:

• Highly motivated, detail oriented, self-starter

• Strong communication skills  

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Argus

• Exceptional quantitative modeling and analytical skills

• The candidate should possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or real estate, and have >2 years of related experience
