Position Summary
The real estate professional will join a team that works closely together across all aspects of the Hunt Companies development and investment platforms. The candidate will gain exposure and experience across a wide array of real estate and other real asset investments, operating platforms, and other assignments. The candidate will be responsible for supporting the team in all aspects of project execution including underwriting, financial analysis and modeling, project structuring, due diligence, financing, negotiation of terms, asset management, acquisitions and dispositions.
 
Essential Job Functions
  • Assist in the financial modeling, underwriting, and due diligence phases of potential new investments.
  • Assist in the preparation of memoranda describing potential new investments and participate in Investment Committee presentations.
  • Preparation of financial analyses of investment decisions.
  • Prepare and effectively analyze market data / research.
  • Support in the creation on annual business plans for owned and managed investments  
  •  Monitor operating performance of owned    investments and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual presentations for senior management, which include maintaining metric information and dashboard style reporting.Prepare capital raising presentations and other investor relations requests.
  • Assist in managing external relationships and maintaining communication with financial and operating partners across Hunt platforms.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for capital partners, Clients, and Sr. Leaders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including strategic projects.
 
Education
Bachelor's degree, ideally with course work in Finance, Real Estate, Business Management or a related discipline from a top-tier school.

Experience and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in real estate, infrastructure, investment banking, lending, investment sales, investment management, or another related field a plus.
  • Understanding of financial analysis, modeling, and valuation; experience with financial and valuation software including Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation abilities.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent critical thinking, judgment, strategic planning, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to perform market research, including travel as needed.
  • Highly developed sense of responsibility and initiative.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
 
Other Skills
Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills, particularly the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and industry professionals. Able to independently manage time effectively in-order to efficiently work on varied and concurrent projects with conflicting deadlines. Ability to identify problems, collect and analyze data and draw logical conclusions.
