The Asset Management & Acquisition Analyst will have a direct impact on the success of the organization by achieving the acquisition, disposition and leasing goals of the company and its assets.

 

The Asset Management & Acquisition Analyst will report to the Managing Director, Asset Management & Acquisitions, work closely with the CEO and the entire Asset Management & Acquisitions Team, to evaluate and underwrite new investment opportunities, support strategic oversight of leasing, operations, and disposition efforts for industrial and office properties.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in over 500+ deal evaluations, 30+ due diligence processes and 15+ closing of new industrial and office investments each year
  • Provide input and direction on the portfolio investment strategies including target markets and opportunities for investment
  • Be a contributing member of all deal transactions including financing, legal, brokers (debt, equity and property), due diligence, 3rd Party Consultants, documentation and accounting
  • Prepare financial packages for internal approvals, lenders and equity partners
  • Responsible for building and modifying financial models in Argus Enterprise and Excel to support new acquisitions, existing portfolio valuation projects, leasing and special projects
  • Working side-by-side with asset management in establishing the business plan for acquired properties
  • Provide strategic input and track the performance of the assets through the hold period, including property sales and assisting asset management in dispositions
  • Develop and maintain a high profile in the brokerage communities and the real estate industry at large in order to generate new business and represent the firm and its clients
  • Assist with monthly and quarterly investor reporting and annual valuation assessments
  • Prepare closing statements and perform distribution waterfall calculations
