Our affiliated credit business, Mack Real Estate Credit Strategies, L.P. (MRECS) is focused on transitional commercial real estate lending and other debt investments.

Mack Real Estate Development, LLC (“MRED”), a subsidiary of MREG, is a full-service real estate development business specialized in entitling, designing, and delivering institutional quality commercial real estate projects.

Summary

MREG is seeking to add a Client Service Analyst/Associate to its Capital Raising and Investor Relations team in New York City. The Client Service Analyst/Associate will join a growing team, gain broad exposure to real estate private equity, and play a critical role in supporting the client reporting and investor relations efforts across MREG’s debt and equity product offerings. The candidate must be highly detail-oriented, intellectually curious, and can multi-task in a growing, fast-paced business environment. The position will emphasize managing client requests, completing investor reporting, and supporting the broader client service function within the Capital Raising and Investor Relations team.

Essential Functions

• Manage ad-hoc and routine client administrative requests, including tax requests, contact updates, recurring report distribution, name change requests, investor portal access requests, etc.
• Update and manage contact, account, and relationship information in the CRM;
• Liaise with the relevant person/team to provide timely responses to client inquiries, as necessary;
• Prepare and process regular and ad-hoc client communications, including preparing, reviewing and sending email communications related to reporting and investor activity;
• Review, track and maintain sensitive documents; follow up to obtain information and approvals as necessary;
• Assist with operational enhancements within the team;
• Support in the creation of presentations and other marketing materials;
• Assist in the firm’s annual investor conference;
• Coordinate investor meetings and site visits with existing and prospective institutional investors and prepare meeting materials; and
• Support the broader Investor Relations and Capital Raising team with client requests when required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience, preferably in financial services;
• Proven ability to manage tasks with competing priorities and deadlines, independently determining order of priority and self-initiating other value-added tasks;
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM system such as Salesforce;
• Highly resourceful; ability to exercise superior judgment regarding investor requests;
• Ability to interact with internal and external clients;
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal); and
• Desires a role on a capital raising and investor relations team with strong potential for career advancement.

Required Education

• Bachelor’s degree required.
