Description
KKR is seeking intelligent, proactive, analytical asset managers to join their Real Estate Credit Asset Management team. The asset managers will be responsible for the oversight and reporting on a portfolio of loans secured by transitional or stabilized assets and involved in special assignments related the growth of the platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Monitoring portfolio performance for potential adverse credit issues
  • Reviewing and analyzing monthly and/or quarterly financial statements and rent rolls while keeping up with national, regional and local market dynamics and tenant credit risks and concentrations
  • Periodic underwriting of collateral
  • Presentations on asset performance to company management and other relevant parties
  • Ongoing comparison of current status against budget and underwritten assumptions
  • Collaborating with construction consultants and other members of the project team to monitor schedules, budgets, leasing and business plans in real time  
  • Interpret complex loan documents to confirm all relevant loan terms and covenants are being satisfied
  • Work closely with investment team on relationship management of transaction sponsor
  • Evaluate and make recommendations for draw requests, lease approvals, loan modifications and various other borrower requests
  • Work closely with internal and external legal counsel in evaluating legal issues and documenting various transactions arising from the asset management of the portfolio
  • Visit, track and analyze loan and property-level information, including financial statements and rent rolls, on a variety of commercial real estate loans and investments located across the United States
  • Manage special projects
  • Periodic travel
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • Two to ten years of related work experience in asset management.
  • Excellent organizational skills. Exceptional attention to detail and thoroughness a must.
  • Ability to work independently and on multiple tasks with multiple people.
  • Team Player with collaborative and strong relationship building skills.
  • Strong sense of urgency.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Financial analysis, financial modeling experience or other applicable real estate finance background.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Special Servicing, Argus, construction loan or development experience a plus
