Elion is currently seeking a full-time, experienced Investor Relations professional to be located in its Miami office. This is a client-facing role that will provide ongoing day-to-day support and conduct various tasks concerning Elion’s institutional and private wealth investment partners The ideal candidate must work well in a team-driven environment, be success-driven and a self-starter, remain cognizant of investor needs, and have a relative knowledge of the industry and key stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Organize communications with institutional investors, HNW/family offices and consultants
  • Develop and manage investor communication content and cadence
  • Prepare and improve the design on all investor communications, including case studies, marketing presentations, annual meeting materials, deal summaries, quarterly reports, research pieces and web content
  • Monitor association content calendars for speaking opportunities, participation at conferences and/or new virtual formats
  • Help lead media scheduling, whitepaper development, social media, blog creation and other marketing strategies (including social media and digital presence)
  • Contribute to ongoing outreach with investors by answering questions, drafting responses and communicating investor sentiment with senior management
  • Have a thorough understanding of investor’s goals/objectives and make sure all investors are given high-quality, responsive information
  • Understand portfolio management decisions, know the various products and stay updated on high priority pipeline deals
  • Manage the onboarding and subscription process for all new investors, including KYC/AML data collection and monitoring
  • Assist with the organization and utilization of the investor portal
  • Utilize, maintain and update the CRM system with client/prospect information and activity
  • Record meeting notes during investor calls and coordinate follow-up materials for distribution to investors following each meeting/call
  • Generate fund investor trackers for designated funds, separate accounts, or co-investments 
  • Work with the management, accounting and acquisitions teams to prepare and improve quarterly investor reports, acquisition and disposition updates, capital call and distribution notices and respond to inbound investor inquiries
  • Ensure all communication to investors is consistent with brand standards and messaging
  • Coordinate and drive content for annual investor meetings, LPAC meetings and other LP events
  • Coordinate and drive content for the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) marketing efforts with investors
  • Communicate with Elion’s strategic advisors to lead internal process improvements and enhance best practices
  • Keep abreast of market conditions, industry news and other issues impacting business development
  • Assist in developing marketing and fundraising materials, including pitch books, campaign teasers, offering memorandum, competitor information, prospect pipelines, among others for investors
  • Coordinate, draft and update responses for due diligence questionnaires and requests for proposal

Other Responsibilities:

  • Work with senior management to develop a marketing plan and pipeline of potential investors
  • Assist senior management in the research and prioritization of potential prospects
  • Source industry research related to fundraising or supporting data related to fundraising strategies and rationale
  • Assist in raising capital and revising strategies to attract new capital
  • Coordinate activities related to Elion’s Environmental, Social and Governance initiatives
  • Complete additional tasks and special projects as needed

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 6-8 years of relevant experience
  • Client Service or Investor Relations experience in Financial Services/Real Estate preferred
  • Investor-oriented mindset
  • Self-starter capable of working autonomously in a lean group and accomplishing complicated tasks with limited supervision
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively maintain databases, keep accurate to-do lists and follow up with all investor requests
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and writing skills
  • Positive attitude as well as excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Compensation & Location

  • Annual compensation and discretionary bonus are commensurate with experience
  • The position is located in Elion’s Miami Office
