Construction Project Manager

The District of Columbia’s Housing Authority is seeking candidates for the position of Construction Project Manager in its Office of Capital Programs (OCP). The primary purpose of this position is to manage construction projects to assure compliance with construction contracts and governing policies, laws, regulations and standards.  Project management responsibility include overseeing the work of contractors; managing construction schedules; tracking and managing budgeted, actual, and anticipated construction costs; and overseeing change orders and monthly billing. 

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in construction management, engineering or other related field; and a minimum of five (5) years’ related experience; or other equivalent combination of education and experience which meet the minimum qualifications requirement.
