FINANCE ANALYST
Position Summary:
Raider Hill is seeking a Finance Analyst to assist the firm with external reporting, financial analysis,
quality control, tax, and compliance. The Finance Analyst will act as a liaison between various functions
across the firm and the firm’s various capital partners, clients, and lenders, thereby providing exceptional professional exposure to the firm’s investment and advisory activities. The position will have a balance of internal and external facing responsibilities, which will require professional maturity, exceptional organizational skills, a remarkable sense of accountability, and an acute attention to detail. The position is based in the company’s New York City office.
 
Responsibilities:
• Asset Management:
o Provide analytical support including cash flow models, sensitivity analysis, asset valuations, hold/sell analyses, distribution analysis, IRR calculations, etc
o Assist in managing relationships with partners, lenders, and principals
o Ensure that partnership and loan document requirements are satisfied
o Create and prepare client presentations, working closely with in house teams and third- party property managers
o Produce ad hoc analyses, assist with dispositions, due diligence, and asset financings
o Liaise with entity management and tax service providers, as well as federal and state authorities, to ensure compliance
 
• Property Management:
o Support the property management team in the oversight of day-to-day property operations for retail properties under management
o Ensure property-level budgets and monthly reporting are precise, timely, and according to company standard
 
• Financial Reporting:
o Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and operational reports for investors, lenders, and principals
o Confirm information provided by various departments and third-party vendors is accurate and appropriately reflected in financial reporting and investor presentations
o Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies while mitigating errors with internal and external processes
 
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from an accredited institution
• 2+ years of relevant work experience (accounting experience is preferred)
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
 
Work Conditions:
• Nature of work requires ability to organize, communicate and exchange information as well as collect, compile, and prepare work documents while operating standard business office equipment
• Work is performed in a general office environment
• May require extended hours during peak periods
• Travel may be required
