Description

Overview

“Camino” or “CCM” is a family office investment platform formed to execute and manage investments in real estate and growth businesses across the United States. CCM invests in private real estate via controlled joint ventures and sponsored projects. Camino focuses on the residential and industrial sectors, targeting an 80% portfolio allocation between them. The remaining 20% of Camino’s investment activity targets VC / technology, private equity, and other alternatives.

Prior to forming CCM, Camino’s Principals had developed, acquired, and/or managed over 25,000 residential units, along with 4 million square feet of industrial, office, retail and mixed-use space in the US, Europe, and Latin America. The Principals have experience investing through several cycles and the firm maintains a long-term view in its investment strategy and approach to risk. Through determination and a strong entrepreneurial spirit, the family enterprise that funds Camino investments has continually expanded over the past four generations. Camino has ambitious plans to extend its reach, investment management footprint, and AUM in the years to come.

Camino’s real estate portfolio encompasses multifamily, logistics, for-sale residential and office assets across leading MSAs. The firm is currently underway on vertical construction of a 32-story residential tower in Miami and recently launched a single-family-rentals venture. Camino is differentiated from most investment managers in that its primary objective is to invest and grow its own capital. Though CCM plans to increase management of 3rd-party capital as part of its growth trajectory, it intends to remain the majority investor in each of its real estate projects, i.e. Camino will always put its money where its mouth is.
