This position will help carry out the company’s global real estate process under the direction of the senior asset management team. The Asset Management Analyst will be involved with all facets of property analysis on various deals for commercial, retail, industrial, life science, hotel, and multi-use assets

The analyst will be responsible for portfolio reporting, forecasting and serve as a liaison between the asset management group and the development, property management, leasing, legal, and accounting groups. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Responsibilities

  • Provide integral support to the Asset Management team through data collection, modelling, analysis, annual business plan and budget preparations
  • Financial modeling in Excel including cash flow, scenario/sensitivity, hold/sell, and lease analysis
  • Use ARGUS to maintain forecasted cash flows
  • Analyzing and assembling quarterly analyses of property performance
  • Assist with transactions by analyzing and modeling loan scenarios
  • Assist with dispositions by completing all financial analysis and diligence/data room requests
  • Assist in preparing materials for annual investor conferences and quarterly investor calls
  • Preparation, maintenance, and ownership of monthly and quarterly portfolio reports
  • Ad hoc projects and analysis, as needed

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • 2+ years real estate analytical experience required
  • Superior proficiency in Excel with the ability to build models, improve existing models, strong use of functions
  • Proficient with ARGUS and all Microsoft office programs
  • Motivated and detailed self-starter with a strong work ethic and ability to succeed in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills; attention to detail and the ability to multitask
  • Ability to effectively communicate and work with various departments within the company
  • Knowledge of MRI a plus
