Summary:

HUBBNYC seeks to hire a full-time Analyst to work closely with the asset management, investor relations, accounting, and investment teams. This position will assist in portfolio reporting, operational execution, and analytical support.

 

This role will interact directly with senior members in the firm and will be part of a larger asset management team that works together to evaluate asset performance and identify ways maximize value across the firm’s portfolio. The environment is dynamic and collaborative with opportunities to travel to tour assets and conduct market-level diligence, gain experience in multi-family and retail asset classes in New York City, and will have exposure to all facets of real estate investment and operations.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with accounting, asset management, and related business units to assemble, analyze, and process operational and financial data
  • Create financial models bases on analyses to support organizational decision making
  • Leverage in-house leasing, appraisal, and property management resources supplemented by third party research sources to generate forward looking projections with analytical support
  • Develop and maintain market knowledge through regular reading of industry trade journals, economic forecasts, and news-related periodicals
  • Analyze business and financial data
  • Develops financial plans and reports for organizational leaders
  • Analyzes industry trends and makes recommendations based on those trends
  • Evaluates capital expenditures and depreciation
  • Develops automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

 

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Advanced Computer proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Advanced knowledge of Argus required
  • Strong proofreading and editing abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication - Able to provide ongoing input and updates to team through thoughtful and detailed information
  • Strategic thinking capabilities
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational management skills
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative information

Ability to distill large data into pertinent conclusions relevant to property or market level reports

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of relevant commercial real estate experience in Asset Management or Acquisitions highly preferred
