Schwab Corporate Real Estate contributes to the success of the company by selecting and negotiating acquisition/expansion of existing and future sites to provide an outstanding real estate position for Schwab corporate and retail offices. The group effectively and efficiently handles the day-to-day operation of the firm's portfolio of properties

- Develop plans, with business partners, which link business and real estate strategy to forecast supply and demand for space
- Serve as principal contact with business leaders and internal clients regarding workspace
- Lead and participate in gathering, analysis and dissemination of business requirements and forecasts for the development of strategic portfolio plans
- Examine opportunities to optimize occupancy via analysis of growth, allocation and utilization of space
- Develop long and short-term strategic building occupancy plans based on business unit requirements
- Establish workplace strategies, including space allocation guidelines
- Develop and handle alternative officing strategies
- Handle space databases
What you have:
- Bachelor's degree is required
- A minimum of 5 years of business experience in portfolio management (strategy, project management, transactional, financial analysis, and corporate occupancy experience)
- Excellent project management skills including experience with architectural planning and programming
- Must be detail oriented and have the ability to analyze and present strategic recommendations for effective space planning and workplace concepts
- Proven ability to build consensus, establish trust, communicate effectively
- Demonstrated success by achieving challenging business goals, assuming leadership role and delivering effective solutions to business problems in a corporate setting
- Ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines
- Possess strong computer software application skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Databases, AutoCad)
