Housing Program Manager

JOB TITLE: Housing Program Coordinator
CLASSIFICATION: Exempt
DEPARTMENT/DIVISION: Community Development
SUPERVISOR: Economic Development Administrator
SALARY: $73,631 to $119,896/yr.

Position Summary:
Under general supervision of the Economic Development Administrator, coordinates the housing activities within the Community Development Department including analysis, design, implementation, coordination, evaluation, and monitoring of housing programs and projects. Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information.

Minimum Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
•Three years’ experience working with housing programs that may include, affordable housing finance, housing development projects, comprehensive or long-range housing policy development
•Must possess or have ability to obtain within first sixty days of employment and must maintain a valid New Mexico Class D driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Planning, Economic Development, Project Management or related field or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
•Experience in project management, real estate development, and technical assistance to non-profit housing organizations.
