QTS is a Blackstone portfolio company. We are seeking a Senior Investments Associate to work from our Duluth, GA location.

 

The Senior Investments Associate will be responsible for helping administrate investment opportunities and provide business development, marketing and administrative support to QTS’s Global Real Estate leader.  The role requires keen skills in the area of real estate and technology along with the ability to lead through influence and communicate with an executive team. 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES, other duties may be assigned.

  • The writing and preparation of investment materials such as investment memorandums, presentations, and proposals.
  • Analyze and interpret property level information including historical operating statements, budgets, CAM reconciliations, leases, loan agreements, etc.
  • Research and report on various markets and assets on specific assignments, in the course of continuing to expand market knowledge, and for general business development purposes.
  • Systematically track, compile, and interpret various sources of data related to the group’s business.
  • Analyze business problems, and compile, analyze, and report data as part of economic impact research and analysis based on new and existing econometric data.
  • Conduct research, prepare reports, and analyze economic data to support the development of business strategies.
  • Coordinate the due diligence and closing process for transactions under contract, working with internal and third parties to analyze information and research financing and operating issues relevant to each transaction.
  • Coordinate all activities for Global Real Estate leader to create efficiencies within the team
  • Work with internal team to coordinate all facets of corporate real estate activities
  • Work with external consultants (brokerage, legal etc.) and public entities (including utility providers) to coordinate all facets of real estate activities
  • Research projects as assigned, including gathering real estate information, maps, pictures and relevant data
  • Arrange business itineraries and coordinate travel requirements for the team utilizing the most efficient and economical mode of travel.
  • Prepare and execute expense reports and check requests on a regular and timely basis
  • Work on strategic projects and process improvement initiatives to reduce risk and/or improve service delivery.
  • Assert discretion and professionalism when given access to confidential and/or private information.
  • Maintain database and reports for key tracking measures.
  • Maintain and update templates for legal documents, compliance documents, and policies and procedures.
  • Manage and maintain files, database, including lead follow up and provide administrative support to create efficiency within the team.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably with a concentration in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Mathematics or equivalent professional experience.

  • Up to 2 years working in an environment (banking, real estate, etc.) focused on driving bottom line value-creation through strategic thinking in a time-sensitive manner.

  • Solid proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel.

PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with ARGUS, Workday, Salesforce, Adaptive Insights and Office Cx.

  • Experience in fast-paced, high-growth Data Center markets.

  • Experience providing financial and analytical support to a development organization.
