JOB SUMMARY:

The Acquisitions Analyst will support the Chief Investment Officer and Director of Acquisitions in sourcing and underwriting new acquisitions

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and track dealflow, associated deadlines and project contacts 
• Create financial models using ARGUS software
• Communicate with sellers and their brokers or associates to obtain information necessary to complete detailed underwriting
• Build market research tables for new acquisition targets
• Produce investment memos and track Investment Committee approvals
• Submit and track offers
• Update macro market analysis tables monthly for each asset class and research trade periodicals for our target markets
• Complete property tours and on-the-ground market and asset research as needed
• Implement version control procedures and build data rooms for new acquisitions
• Manage deal transition to Transaction team following PSA execution
• Draft post-closing press releases 
• Complete other tasks as may be assigned by the Director of Acquisitions

REQUIREMENTS:  

Education:  Bachelor degree in a related field is required.  Graduate degree is a plus.

Experience: A minimum of 5 years overall commercial real estate experience, with a minimum 2 years experience in middle-market commercial real estate acquisitions is required. Experience in real estate finance, capitalization structures, real estate investment funds, dealmaking, asset or property management is a plus. Candidates are asked to provide a summary of transaction experience with their resume submission.
