INVESTMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary responsibilities involve supporting the team by preparing financial analysis and market research including:
• Structure and build detailed financial models to support both asset management activities and investment decisions
• Model flexible and complex asset structures, business plans
• Support Director, SVP and CIO in due diligence and underwriting elements including financial modeling and market research
• Provide support for the acquisition, financing and disposition process
• Assist in preparing presentation materials
• Monitor and maintain lease comps, historical transactions, and other market data
• Prepare and assist with periodic asset reporting, year-end letters, and business plans
• Provide input on acquisition underwriting and due diligence and prepare approval memos for senior management

ASSET MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist in investor and asset management reporting
• Assist Directors with creation and review of pro-formas, budget and other analyses relating to existing investments
• Support Director, SVP, CIO, CFO and Asset Managers in valuation process. Take lead role in creating support documentation

RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop familiarity with roles and responsibilities of staff at all levels of operating partner organizations
• Provide support for client presentation materials

GENERAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelors degree
• A minimum of 3-7 years of real estate and analytical job experience, preferably in hotels
• High proficiency in financial modeling with strong capability in excel
• Investment banking, real estate private equity or institutional real estate consulting background a plus
• Build and maintain investment models
• Strong interest in a real estate investment management career
• Critical thinker with a strong work ethic
• Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously with support from senior team members
