Come join Cerner’s growing Properties team!  As the Lead Workspace Operations Manager, you will play a vital role in managing the financial, human capital and quality outcomes of internal business processes for our owned campuses and regional/global facilities.  The focus of your work will involve managing processes, analytics, and systems & technology.  

As the Lead Workspace Operations Manager, you will lead a cross-divisional team responsible for delivering business process outcomes including the people, data, and financial investments related to managing Cerner’s owned and leased real estate portfolio.
 
This dynamic team oversees lease administration and contract management as well as a team of Operations specialists whose responsibilities include Global Properties quality/process improvements and analytics initiatives. You will lead the development and implementation of a fact-based analytical approach to Global Workplace Properties performance reporting analytics of Properties transactions and operations, analyzing Properties performance compared to Balanced Scorecard metrics and Service Level Agreements of service providers to maximize value, evaluating and recommending tools to improve efficiencies of all Properties operations.

Basic Qualifications
 
  • Bachelors’ Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field or equivalent relevant work experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in business process improvement or enterprise cross-divisional continuous improvement initiatives
  • At least 5 years of experience in finance or accounting
  • At least 5 years of people management work experience
  • At least 10 years of experience in real estate industry (transactions, facilities or property management, strategic planning, construction)

Preferred Qualifications
 
  • 5 years of experience in Real Estate Finance and Accounting
  • Property Management experiece
  • Master’s Degree in in Business or Real estate
  • Certified Six Sigma or other Quality training and experience leading Benchmarking/Best Practices initiatives
  • Experience managing successful implementation of real estate-related software tools such as lease administration and Integrated Workplace Management Systems (IWMS)
  • Real estate development experience

  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Basic: Perform other responsibilities as assigned
