We are seeking a Management Level Associate in the New York City area to oversee the Investment - Asset management team within Greystone Development. The ideal candidate has eight to twelve years of relevant experience in real estate investment, asset management, development and acquisitions.

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities;

  • Oversight of a national multifamily mixed-use operating portfolio in various stages of development, commercial leasing and external reporting.
  • Management of the portfolio’s financing, capitalizations and disposition activities
  • Maintaining lender and partner relationships.
  • Participate in underwriting and diligence of new acquisitions
  • Execute strategic business plans
  • Create and manage annual budgets, perform cash flow analysis
  • Provide market analysis for evaluation.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in finance, economics, accounting, engineering or other analytical / quantitative fields)
  • 10 Years of prior experience in Investment Management, Asset Management, acquisitions or real estate investment banking.
  •  Proficient in MS Office Suite, PowerPoint, CoStar and Argus
  • Must have strong work ethics
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments
  • Strong analytical and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must be an effective communicator with all levels of employees, including senior management
  • Ability to work independently and with a team with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
