We are seeking a Management Level Associate in the New York City area to oversee the Investment - Asset management team within Greystone Development. The ideal candidate has eight to twelve years of relevant experience in real estate investment, asset management, development and acquisitions.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities;
- Oversight of a national multifamily mixed-use operating portfolio in various stages of development, commercial leasing and external reporting.
- Management of the portfolio’s financing, capitalizations and disposition activities
- Maintaining lender and partner relationships.
- Participate in underwriting and diligence of new acquisitions
- Execute strategic business plans
- Create and manage annual budgets, perform cash flow analysis
- Provide market analysis for evaluation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in finance, economics, accounting, engineering or other analytical / quantitative fields)
- 10 Years of prior experience in Investment Management, Asset Management, acquisitions or real estate investment banking.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, PowerPoint, CoStar and Argus
- Must have strong work ethics
- Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments
- Strong analytical and excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must be an effective communicator with all levels of employees, including senior management
- Ability to work independently and with a team with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
