Description
This position provides support for rural real estate projects and land enhancement activities throughout our land base. This position will coordinate with US Forest Resources (USFR) operations and outside contractors/consultants on identified project properties and selected Rayonier Forest Resources properties. These responsibilities may include entitlement and enhancements (concept and design), financial analysis, contract negotiations, and project management through project completion. The Project Manager will directly manage projects and will assist on others, coordinating with internal team members and administering third-party service contracts (consultants, surveyors, contractors, etc.). This will require interface with governmental agencies on entitlement/permitting tasks, and assisting in identifying and cultivating contractors in each market area.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in Construction, Real Estate, Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Five years’ experience project management in real estate development, construction and or land management/development.
- Knowledge of real estate development processes, project administration, strong organizational skills, strong written/verbal communication, presentation skills and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple vendor/contractor relationships and performance.
