Construction Project Director

Vi is the parent organization of ten exclusive continuing care retirement communities (CCRC) in some of the nation’s most desirable locales. A desirable opportunity exists working out of the Chicago Corporate office for a highly accomplished professional to manage the design and construction process for Vi’s specific community capital renovation projects.  This includes project oversight of architect and consultants, Jurisdictions Having Authority (JHA) and achieving or exceeding the schedule, budget and quality goals.    

Qualified applicants will possess 10 years of commercial and /or residential experience and design process management.  Expereince with and a thorough understanding of various construction contracts and projects.  Must be skilled at maintaining and evaluating quality, schedule, and budget of projects ranging in size from a few thousand to a couple million dollars. Technical understanding of building systems.  Broad based computer skills.  Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering required.   Ability to travel 35%
